Didn't really get answers to my questions, seemed more interested in selling me treatment medication at very high cost.

It was not easy to book an appointment. I wanted to book appointments for 2 dogs, one needed 2 procedures. It would not allow me to books these appointments together online despite being able to see appointments were available. I phoned. I was caller number1 for over 20 minutes at which point my daughter who was sitting next to me phoned and was caller number 3, her call was answered before mine in less than a minute of waiting while I was still on hold ! When I went into see the vet she said the first thing she thought of when seeing dogs like mine was some kind of incurable meningitis as dogs like mine are likely to get it . My appointment was a general check up and booster jabs . Those were not reassuring words and I wonder why she would say that to me out of nowhere concidering it had no relevance to my appointment.

I note that the other vet practice London Road Vets Colchester charges less for booster vaccinations than the Tiptree practice. Why? Since Medivet took over both practices there has been a huge increase in prices.
I have no problems with the staff and the veterinarians at the Tiptree practice. They are very caring and friendly. It is just the huge price increase that is causing stress. As a pensioner it is becoming a struggle to pay for medical treatment for my two cats even though I have pet insurance. As my cats are elderly I still need to pay 20% of the cost as well as £ 100 excess.

I was sceptical when the practice was taken over by the Medivet group. But the staff are still there and so far I’ve noticed no difference.
The practice ‘is’ the staff in my view and in my experience having been a client for many years has always been excellent care and communication, essential when dealing with a precious pet. Thankyou Tiptree Medivet.

Great service well trained receptionist and so friendly. Vet took great care of our dog and gave us plenty of advice

We absolutely adore our vet Beth, who is amazing. However, we find it staggering the amount of fees this practice charges for feline's annual booster and check-up. Feel very conflicted about future visits.
