Partner

Aaron graduated from London’s Royal Veterinary College and started practicing in a large small animal hospital on the South Coast. He gained massive experience in complex medical and surgical cases and has completed a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Small Animal Medicine. His interests lie in complicated medical cases and emergency/critical care medicine where his previous British Army and Police careers help him stay calm under pressure. Aaron lives with his wife, Sophie, and their black labrador, Ollie, who refuses to stay out of the river that runs alongside the practice! On days off he enjoys long walks and pub lunches with his family and in summer he enjoys riding his motorbikes through the country including a 1954 BSA A10 Golden Flash that he restored and rebuilt himself.

Head Veterinary Nurse

I have been working for Medivet for over 18 years now. I qualified in 2006 after falling in love with the profession during some work experience. Previously, I worked at Medivet St Ives for 16 years as Head Nurse before moving to the Whittlesey practice. Living in Whittlesey for nearly all my life, I really enjoy now working here and helping all the poorly pets in the town. I enjoy all aspects of the job but in particular I like consulting and giving owners advice on pet healthcare. Outside of work, I manage a local kids football team, which I have done now for 3 years. I also enjoy fishing, socialising with friends / family and gaming. I live with my wife and 2 children. We have a working cocker spaniel called Amber, 4 chickens, 3 guinea pigs, a tortoise and a bearded dragon.

I am a Veterinary Care Assistant at Medivet Whittlesey and joined the practice in 2025. I’ve always loved animals and feel very lucky to work with them every day. I enjoy supporting our vets and nurses to help make sure every patient feels safe and well cared for, as well as offering reassurance to owners. I’m really enjoying building my experience and continuing to learn within the practice. At home, I have two cats, Mabel and Merlin, who definitely keep me on my toes!

I have been working at Medivet Whittlesey nine and a half years as a Client Care Assistant. I have always loved animals and working within the veterinary industry was always a dream of mine when I was younger. I made a big career change when I joined and I’ve never looked back. I love meeting and greeting our clients and their pets, providing all the necessary support in good times and sad times. When not at work I enjoy family time with my husband and little boy. I love to be outdoors and I love horses. Any spare time I have these days I try to spend getting my horsey fix. I have two dogs, Penelope and Ruby and a cat called Floyd.

On this visit I managed to get my Westy into the vet ok without her trembling though we had a wait for her appointment and she was wanting to leave ( tapping on the door!)
This time a young male vet saw her , made a fuss of her , didnt rush and allowed her to hold onto my shoulder while he checked her out ( very different to previous visits!) so while her heart was beating faster she wasn’t shaking and no warning growls or attempts to snap at him.
I hope we will see him next time !

We saw a lovely Vet who gave my dog his vaccination. I’m not sure of the Vet’s name but he was from Portugal. He was very helpful and did his best to reassure my nervous dog.

Desk staff are very good. The vet who took the appointment for my dog was an absolute JOKE. I was not happy with his knowledge, attitude and the diagnosis. Had one thing in his head and that was it. Instead of paying £40+ for consultation I could have got my grandson to google it with more options.

Was a little surprised in how long the wait time was for a dental surgery appointment, but I know they were working on this!
