I’m Paisley, the Partner at Medivet Matlock. With over a decade of experience in veterinary medicine, I’ve learned that while medical protocols are standard, pets and their owners never are. I truly enjoy the puzzle of tailoring a treatment plan that fits the specific needs of your family. Beyond general practice, I hold a Certificate in Small Animal Medicine and currently pursuing advanced qualifications in Ophthalmology – I have a particular soft spot for helping our patients see the world more clearly! My goal is to become a familiar, trusted face for the Matlock community. When I’m not in the clinic, I’m usually kept on my toes by my husband and our two young sons. When I find spare time, you’ll usually find me with my horses or out riding—my favourite way to unwind.

Really nice friendly practice in Starkholmes Matlock. The staff are friendly, helpful and the practice is spotless.
The prices are fair and definitely cheaper than other practices in Matlock. But that said the standard of care is definitely not reflected in this. I would give them 5 stars for the care and attention to my 2 dogs.

Visited this practice, with my much loved little dog, for the first time. We were made very welcome and put at ease in this new situation. Paisley, the vet, attended to my dog, she was very caring and attentive, it was obvious of her expertise, knowledge, but what really came across, was her kind approach to my very elderly chap. Thankyou Paisley.

My cat had been attacked by another cat and had a nasty bite that turned into an abscess Paisley and her team took great care of Bella who is a snow bengal and quite an handful but paisley was so gentle with her and Bella trusted her completely which is a first,

Once again absolutely first class care. Ella was full of excitement to see Paisley again. She had her injection and treatment with no issues. I cannot thank Paisley and the practice for their level of attention to detail and care.

Nose-to-tail health check
