Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2012 from Utrecht University in the Netherlands and moved to England in 2012. I have now completed my certificate in Exotic Animal Practice, and enjoy applying all my new knowledge to cases in practice. I’ve worked for Medivet since 2014, seeing this little branch grow into a full-fledged practice, seeing both the more traditional and exotic pets. At home I have a dog called Baxter and a turtle called Sebastian. In my free time I enjoy working with model trains, and love spending time with my daughter.

I graduated vet school from the CEU Cardenal Herrera University in Valencia, Spain in 2023 and joined the lovely team here a few months later. I'm passionate about small animal medicine with an interest in exotic animals. In my free time I like to play video games, board games and play the guitar. I enjoy sports and exercise; I like to go to the gym and have a passion for athletics.

I graduated from the RVC in 2024 and have recently started working at Medivet Lower Earley. I mainly focus on small animal medicine, but I also have a very big interest in exotic medicine. I enjoy my job every day, and probably even more when my consults involve puppies or kittens. I have a 16-year-old Poodle named Chestnut back home who mainly just sleeps and eats, and my dream is to keep a reptile as a pet in the future. In my free time I enjoy going on long random walks under the sun, or staying at home crocheting. I also like going on day trips to a random town and spending my whole day there exploring.

I joined the practice in October 2023. I love meeting clients and looking after their pets that come into the practice; from tiny to large, furry to scaly. My main areas of interest are inpatient care and consultations. At home I have 3 Golden Retrievers, 3 cats and marine fish. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exploring with my dogs, and food!

I joined the practice in April 2024, I love meeting all the pets that come to see us in practice big, small and exotic. I have 7 cats at home, 5 being stray kittens that were brought into practice, a ginger Tom and a tabby cat. The list doesn’t end there, I also have 5 guinea pigs and 3 rabbits that take up majority of my garden! My hobbies are reading, eating out, seeing my family and friends.

I joined the practice in August 2024 and I love greeting all your pets at the front desk just before their appointments. At home I have a cavapoochon called Arthur and I love spending time with my family and friends' larger dogs and cats too. I’ve also had many Guinea pigs and hamsters throughout my life! When I'm not at work I enjoy baking, seeing friends and family and shopping.

No consideration in the waiting room for people with cats. Large dogs just standing around blocking the entry exit..
I am intimidated by dogs esp big/loud ones so cannot imagine how small animals esp cats feel. The vet was in the waiting room when I visited with the dog and chatting to owners, made zero attempt to allow me access away from the dog. Not all pet owners love all animals and respect/space should be given to all. Accept it’s a small area but thought should be put into this, the vet treating my pet and the service received is great . The waiting area lets this practice down

I’ve recently been to Lower Earley and Wokingham practices. Wokingham is more modern and has a cleaner feel to it. Also it has a separate cat area, which can help reduce stress in cats. Lower Earley could really do with a facelift and if it were possible, it would be good to have a separate cat area too.

My appointment didn’t start on time because some random person without a pet walked into the consultation room right before my appointment and only came out after I asked the receptionist when my pet was going to be seen by the vet. It’s not my business but it sounded like personal issues. Highly unprofessional. Will not be coming back and will tell friends to avoid.

I love this vet surgery. Chumley (my dog) is so excited to see them all, he couldn’t care less if they’re going to jab him with a needle, as long as he gets to see them (and the others dogs in the waiting room if there’s any :D). They will always try accommodate where they can to fit us in or advise us on best pricing options. Super friendly and helpful. They’re great, I’ve recommended them to friends.

The vet was very knowledgeable and loved my dog. Although I had my 4 year old with me as husband was stuck in london. He’s a kind boy and several times tried to speak to the vet. But she completely ignored him and stared blankly at times. I appreciate not everyone is in to children but pretending the child isn’t there is very unkind. And he was very well behaved. Just interested in her job.

Both Robert & Julian shows care and consideration when dealing with my two rescue dogs. Always explain treatment options.
