I am registered with Medivet's Health Plan which offers a 6-monthly nose to tail checkup, and free de-worming and flea medication. Booking online, I was able to get an appointment within 2 days, and I was also very pleased to get the option of seeing with a vet instead of a nurse, at no extra charge. Also very happy that the practice is now open on a Saturday. However, although you can get after hours advice over the phone, the closest emergency service for a face to face consult is an hour away, which is a concern. My puppy needed a sanitary shave for which I was charged, which I feel is fair enough, but I think £29 for a five min cleanup is a bit excessive. Everyone at the practice is lovely and very helpful, and willing to discuss your concerns over the phone, which is rare these days. Overall, I am happy with my experiences with this practice and would not hesitate to recommend Medivet to others.
