My name is Eurico and I am originally from Madeira. I have been qualified since 2015 from University of Evora and recently joined the amazing team at Medivet Worthing. I am passionate about my job and love to provide care to our little furry friends. I have a particular interest in ophthalmology and soft tissue surgery. In the past, I had a little rabbit called Yume (dream in Japanese). At the moment I have no pets, but I would love to adopt at some point a senior dog or cat. In my spare time I like to walk in the countryside, play violin and look after my 70 orchids.

Hi, my name is Kat! I have been part of the Medivet Worthing team since September 2022. I started training here as a new grad and have grown and learned so, so much since. I love working in our amazing team, with our great clients and your adorable furries! I grew up in Germany always surrounded by lots of different pets. So, it was only natural to go on to study Veterinary Medicine. I studied in Lithuania and Spain before deciding to move to Worthing to join Medivet.

I started at Heene Road Vets December 1987, while going to Brinsbury college, I was lucky enough to be offered a placement to train as a Veterinary Nurse. After qualifying I have enjoyed working at Heene Road, now Medivet Worthing ever since. I am now happily married with 2 children, while having a breather from having loyal Boxer's in our family. We now have an entertaining Cockapoo called Buster and a tolerant cat called Molly! Veterinary nursing is a very rewarding job, although sometimes very stressful and definitely not a 9 to 5 job. I have loved my years in practice, working with some amazing vets, nurses and receptionists. I have met some lovely clients and their pets, which I have enjoyed sharing over the years.

Originally from London, I moved to Worthing in 1983 and started working at Heene Road Vets (now Medivet) in 1986 as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, prior to this I ran a small grooming business alongside working as a locum nurse. Several years later, I decided to return to full-time education (whilst remaining at Heene Road) and trained as a special needs teacher, which I did for several years but the desire to return to animals became too strong and I returned as a full-time nurse in 2014. I am married with two grown-up sons and currently own a Westipoo doggie named Daisy. Until recently I also had a cat and am finding life incomplete without one so am on the lookout for a kitten (or two). Within the practice I am referred to as the nutrition nurse having undertaken a certificate in 2018, this is an area I love researching and am never happier than when I am looking into the diets of dogs and cats. Outside of work, I sing with the Rock Choir, which I absolutely love, do Pilates and I am a dab hand at DIY.

Since qualifying in 2018, I have been a part of the Worthing team and Clinical Coaching future Vet Nurses. I particularly enjoy using all the modern equipment and tech available to us in practice and how they can be used to aid our patients in their speedy recoveries. At home, I have two very needy miniature Schnauzers and in my spare time I enjoy adventuring in the outdoors and playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends.

I joined the practice in 2018 as an Animal Care Assistant and in 2019 began my vet nursing career as a Student Veterinary Nurse. I qualified with a Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing in 2021, meaning I have spent my entire Registered Veterinary Nurse career within the same practice with the rest of the amazing team. I have adored animals for as long as I can remember and can honestly say I can't ever imagine myself doing anything else. It is such a rewarding job and working within the same practice has enabled me to build relationships with not all of our patients but the lovely owners too. I have a particular interest in inpatient nursing care, feline medicine and also really enjoy laboratory work. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a patient that initially came in to us poorly go home better knowing you helped care for that animal.

I have been working at Medivet Worthing since 2022 and currently training to be a veterinary nurse. I am a BIG cat lover with 3 cats of my own and 2 tortoises. My cats keep me occupied as they are constantly zooming around the house. Before I started working for Medivet, I did a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I have always wanted to work with animals and training to be a nurse has allowed me to expand my knowledge whilst helping a range of species. In my free time I enjoy catching up with friends, playing with my cats and travelling to different countries.

I started working for Medivet in 2022 after working in an out-of-hours emergency veterinary practice. Since starting at Medivet I have progressed from a patient care assistant to a student veterinary nurse. I have always wanted to work with animals, and I love being a part of their care and treatment in practice. At home I have 2 rescued Staffordshire bull terrier x brothers who love attention, treats and sleeping on the bed.

I joined Heene Road Vets in February 2000 as a receptionist and have been here ever since apart from a 2 year break. In this time I worked as a support worker which was rewarding but not quite as rewarding as being around the animals, and I did miss the team a lot! I have not regretted coming back to veterinary work and think I will still be here in another 20 years. During lock down I took in a lovely dog for 1 month as his owner was poorly. He is still with me and loves to come to work with me and sit under desks in the office waiting for treats, particularly Vet Eurico's desk! I am about to embark on an a new role from September 24 as Practice Manager for Worthing , Goring By Sea and Brighton branch and I am really looking forward to all the new challenges that await me .

I'm Angela but known as AJ. I have worked for the Worthing and Goring practices for 6 years as a Client Care Assistant and before that I worked for Santander for 15 years as a Personal banker. I am originally from London but now live in Worthing. I currently have no pets of my own as I recently lost my lovely old cat in May, but I know I will be adopting another golden oldie in the near future. The best part of the job for me is meeting the lovely pets and their owners.

I have been using this practice for all my cats for the last 37 years, and have always received excellent care and treatment, and the staff have always been kind and friendly. The only downside (which is not their fault) is parking, hence 4 stars

Excellent Vets throughout the whole team, every time we've been with our cats and Pomeranian they have been extremely thorough caring and take the time without rushing. Their care and treatment has been superb. Highly recommend.

I am afraid the first consult was very disappointing. The doctor did not introduce himself, did not seem knowledgeable about the microchipping process for cats and did not check my cat’s teeth although I asked. The receptionist barged in mid-session to solve another customer’s issue and I was left waiting. The fee of £63 was ridiculous given this level of care. I do not recommend and I will not go back there again as I don’t think the team is capable to take care of my cat.

I have been using this practice for nearly twenty years now so I have known most of the staff for much of this time. My fears of them changing from an independent vet to part of a corporate one have long gone. Whether the reception team, nursing staff, and the vets, they treat my 'pack' like their own every time. The vets have a combination of expertise, from orthopedic skills to eyes, which has meant many procedures have been treated 'in-house' rather than me beinv pointed to external consultants. I would have no hesitation whatsoever to recommend this lovely practice.

Was worried about a cut which the cat had after going out. Called the vet that managed to squeeze us in for a check up right at the end of the day. Both the receptionist and the vet that we saw were very understanding, helpful and very professional. Thank you for a great service.
