Our dog has an ongoing and at times distressing condition. We decided that it was time for a review and armed with all the literature that we could find on the subject we came along hoping for some light at the end of a long tunnel. We knew that the vet had endured a very long and difficult day due to our appointment needing to be put back, and we were the last appointment. Nevertheless he listened to all our questions and we talked over the options and the things that would not help. He was clearly tired but lovingly greeted our boy, took all our concerns and enquiries very seriously and genuinely gave us his all. We were there a very long time but were not rushed. It was probably the most thorough and reciprocal engagement that we have ever had with any vet in over 20 years of dog ownership. Whatever the outcome of the new treatment ( we finally arrived at ) we know that Andre will keep on trying to help our boy. Thank you Andre from the bottom of our hearts and Thor says thank you too!

I am so impressed with the practice. I have a very scred rescue dog, and from the first, the staff has helped her become confident about coming to the vet. Everyone is so interested in how she's doing. My other dog had a terror of injections, and all 3 vets we've seen have overcome this with time, patience and snacks!

What drama. I found a small distressed Blackbird trapped upside down at the bottom of my Fatball feeder! To make matters worse he stuck his head between the bars. I tried for ages to try and get him out safely. Ultimately I took the feeder for a trip to a nearby Vet. Afrivet, Vets, Andre and Anna were brilliant and managed to remove it, tired but unharmed. I asked if I could pick him up later and release him back into my garden, where hopefully his anxious family will be waiting. 💝. All rather emotional. I'm very grateful to the Vets who came to the rescue. #medivet
