I qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 1999 at Liverpool Veterinary school, before gaining my RCVS certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2007. I then went on to earn my Advanced Practitioner status in 2015. I really enjoy all aspects of practice – especially medicine based cases. At home I enjoy spending time with my children and Border Terrier ‘Nerys’. I also am a keen participant in regular tennis matches and spectator of Welsh Rugby!

I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2017 from the Royal Veterinary College. I've worked at Upper Grove Street since I graduated and love building strong relationships with my clients and patients. I enjoy all aspects of being a vet, particularly working with such a friendly team who work hard to give gold standard care. When not working, I enjoy spending my spare time cuddling my terrier cross Pablo and trying out new cake recipes.

Head Veterinary Nurse and Clinical Coach

I have been in practice for over 10 years and 7 of those years have been spent here at Upper Grove Street. I gained my registration and RCVS qualification in 2017 and have then progressed to head nurse, enjoying working within our tight knit team. I'm also an established clinical coach – allowing me to continue training the next generation of veterinary nurses which I very much enjoy. I am a keen participant in all aspects of veterinary nursing and practice management, having a strong interest in nurse clinics, client relationships and animal welfare. At home I'm kept busy by our 5 horses & 2 small rescue dogs – Cameo & Pixie Pig.

I started my veterinary journey at Medivet Leamington Upper Grove Street in April 2022 as a patient care assistant. I have since progressed onto my nursing training and am enjoying learning and being more hands on with the patients. I enjoy all parts of veterinary nursing and caring for the pets and their families. Outside of work I can be found caring for my own pets; my sprollie Louie, leopard gecko and two horsefield tortoises.

I completed a degree in Animal Welfare and Management in my twenties and had the desire to lecture in Animal Care. After a year or so as a dairy herdsperson at a college in Northamptonshire I found a stop gap role as a delivery driver which led to 16 years in operations management. The majority of this was for a well-known internet grocery delivery company, culminating in the opening and running of my own site in Milton Keynes. My most recent role was two years as a Veterinary Practice manager in a practice at Fosse Park, Leicester. Prior to Joining Medivet I had a short what you might call sabbatical, starting my own Cat Sitting and Microchipping business to keep me busy. The desire to return to the Veterinary industry was never far from my mind and I started as the Practice Manager for Medivet Pype Hayes and Solihull branches in October of 2024.
