Horrific, more than once requested medication that wasn't ordered for my dog that is dying of a terminal heart condition Not having the time to be traumatised every time I need to order medication and then be told off for it by them. I've decided to move somewhere else Ironically, the day after I did that they sent me an email saying they no longer wanted to see me Well Medivet, the feeling is more than mutual because there is nothing in the world that could bring me back to you The reason Medivet is disappearing is because you are all completely incompetent Spare your animals, take them somewhere else (It's a shame actually, because the two vets there are very good. It's the constant ineptitude of the reception that lets them down. I'm pretty sure there's zero training and they hire unqualified people) ✌🏽 Thank you for your response. I was grateful for the emergency medication, however, after the few days of emergency medication when I called to chase up the full month order to ask where it was, only to hadn't been ordered - then went Southend Medivet, only to have the exact same thing happen to us again You were only ever a good vet. The management of the practise and Medivet as a whole is really bad You can blame my bad behaviour all you want, but without taking account for the actions you were responsible for that led to it, frankly, you're not worth an apology. My opinion is to avoid Medivet.

AVOID!!!!! Genuinely don’t know how this place has such high reviews. Disgusted is an under statement. I came here in desperate need after being referred here by another vets. My cat has somehow fractured his paw and we were told that he would benefit from surgery so after being quoted around £4000 from south field (another one I would definitely also avoid, check reviews first!!!) I was initially told on the phone that they would help me keep the cost of payment down and/ or help me by setting up some sort of payment plan. After arriving I was met with a “small animal practioner” and not an actual surgeon which is why he would do it cheaper at £3500 (which isn’t much cheaper than the “specialists at Southfield) which is highly unprofessional he obviously has no interest in helping animals and is just there for the money. I’ve now been to another trustworthy actual orthopedic surgeon who have told me that surgery isn’t an option on the paw as the location of the brake and would be best to bandage and heal on their own (which this guy quoted me £300 each time I come back if we done it like that, the vets that I’m now with are charging £48 to do the bandage each time aswell as actually seeming like they care for the wellbeing of my pet) he explained he’s going to try do it and if he needs to amputate of of his fingers it’s not a problem in his words and started laughing about it and it wouldn’t bother him. I’m guessing this was his attempt to try and botch it and chop it off. He also started pressuring me and being very rude when I was unsure about the way he came across (money motivated and cold) . I also saw him rolling his eyes at the receptionist when I wasn’t 100% instead of reassuring me or having a bit of compassion especially in a stressful situation. He also told me he wouldn’t be there when i came to pick him up from the surgery, so in other words he just wanted to come in for a couple hours make 3.5k and trot on home laughing whilst my baby has had parts of him lobbed off and thrown into a bin. Am absolutely disgusted and will never be using any medi vets again! Stay well clear and if you care about your pet take them to a small business or family run business as alot of the time they actually care about animals as vets should! Antonis was his name as I’ve just found out. What a lovely guy 💰 Also I’ve just added a photo, £1000 for sedating and looking after him ! Just an insight into the prices this place wants to try charge desperate people!

Took our family dog into practice for a dental and epulis removal, all staff members were very friendly, welcoming and professional. The vet was very gently with our little girl and trusted him completely with the care. I received regular updates and felt like a safe and comfortable environment for our doggy. Thank you to the vet (Antonis) and all the nurses for their exceptional care. ????????????????????????
