The reception staff really let the practice down - very defensive, unwelcoming and at times surly. The practice needs a refurb to modernise it and removed the job centre style reception. Lastly I’ve never been asked for my correct title and find it very annoying that one was given to me (incorrectly) without asking how I’d like to be addressed.

I was told by this practice that my cat urgently needed to go to the emergency room due to a blocked bladder. They said I’d receive a quote for the procedure after he was already in the operating room, and didn’t even offer a rough estimate beforehand despite this being a very common condition in male cats. With their supposed experience and “structured pricing,” they could have easily provided a ballpark figure. When they finally came back, the quote was nearly £3,000, absolutely unbelievable. To make matters worse, my cat experienced the same issue just a week later, which makes me seriously doubt they resolved the problem properly the first time. The second procedure, done elsewhere, cost me less than one-sixth of what Medivet quoted. Thanks, Medivet!

Really couldn't fault the service - from the front desk staff to the vets we've had assessing and treating our cat, everyone has been friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Great to feel like we are in safe hands!
