I have always been so assured and feel as if my dogs are very well looked after by Medi Vets in Cockfosters, they are friendly and very knowledgeable.

I’ve been bringing my dog to this vet for years. She’s had an allergy since she was a puppy and has been on lifelong medication. Despite repeatedly explaining that I give her half a tablet in the morning and half in the evening, this has never been properly noted in her records. I’ve told multiple vets the same thing, yet I keep getting different advice and inconsistent instructions. Some vets have told me to give her half a tablet once a day — which I’ve tried — but I always return to the routine that actually works for my dog. When I explain this, I’m told, “If it works for her, that’s fine.” So why is it not being respected or recorded? Now that I’m trying to wean her off medication and only needed a two-month supply, I was outright refused. A new vet — who has never even seen my dog — called me, read off the notes, and spoke to me in a condescending, dismissive manner as if she knew better than I did. She clearly wasn’t interested in hearing what I had to say. When I voiced my frustration (rightfully so, after years of poor communication and lack of continuity), I was told to find another vet. That’s the kind of “service” I received after years of loyalty. I’m appalled. The lack of care, the refusal to listen, and the way I was spoken to is unacceptable. I know my dog better than anyone, and I deserve to be treated with respect — not brushed off and told to go elsewhere simply because I challenged the poor handling of her care.

A fantastic clinic. I have taken my dog to this clinic regularly for checkups and twice as emergency care was required. Each time the staff have been fantastic in booking the appointments, to my dog being seen and cared for amazingly, and the instructions or treatment and aftercare provision.

Lovely and attentive staff. They really looked after my kitten really well, and made us feel very comfortable leaving her for her operation.
